Easter Island is over 2,000 miles from the nearest population center,
(Tahiti and Chile), making it one of the most isolated places on
Earth. A triangle of volcanic rock in the South Pacific - it is
best known for the giant stone monoliths, known as Moai, that dot
the coastline. The early settlers called the island "Te Pito
O Te Henua" (Navel of The World). Admiral Roggeveen, who came
upon the island on Easter Day in 1722, named it Easter Island. Today,
the land, people and language are all referred to locally as Rapa
Nui.
DAY 1: EASTERN
ISLAND

DAY 2: HANGA
ROA, RANO KAO AND ORONGO
Half
day tour starts from the town of Hanga Roa on the coast, and heads
towards the Rano Kao volcano. The route ascends its slopes to the
summit to reveal the inpressive crater to reveal the impressive
crater noted for its 1.6 km diameter and more than 200 m deep. Visit
Orongo, a magnificent ceremonial city where the majority of the
island’s petroglyphs concentrated, representing mainly images
of the bird-like man Tanagata Manu, Make-Make, god of creation,
and Komari, a fertility symbol. From the edge of the cliff, observe
the three islets Motu Iti, Motu Nui and Motu Kao Kao. Next visit
Vinapu and Ana Kai Tangaia. Rest of the day at leisure
DAY 3: HANGA
ROA, RANO KAO AND ORONGO
Full day tour.
Depart early in the morning to visit the ancient ruins of Vaihu.
Continue towards Ahu Akhanga, a large ahu (plattform) with big fallen
statues where, according to legend, the tomb of the first king of
the island is located. Fromthere, visit Rano Raraku quarry, classic
symbol of the island and original factory of the moais. The gigantic
statues cover the inner an outer slopes of the volcano; they can
be admired in the different stages of production, from carvings
in the rock to upright position, and lying face down on the road
in route to their intended platform. Drive to Aku Tongariki, formerly
the biggest platform on the island, destroyed by a tidal wave in
1960 and now reconstructed. Afterwards, the tour takes you along
the North Coast visit Ahu TePito Te Kura. From there, drive La Perusa
Bay to the beautiful archeological site of Anakena. Return to the
hotel through the Vaitea Farm.

Departure at 9:00 A.M. from Puerto Montt through the Panamerican
higway to Pargua where we´ll navigate the
Chacao Channel in order
to disembark on the Big Chiloé Island ( second largest island in
South America). From here we´ll pass through bucolic natural sceneries
to Caulin, nestling place for black necked swans, flamingoes, sand
pipers, rails, oyster catchers, egrets, and much more. Lunch on
the way to the Pacific coast where we´ll find 3 inlets very close
to the beach of a beatiful bay call " Punihuil inlets".
This Place is a truly wild paradise, with fine sands beach, here
nestle two pengüin species : The Magellanic and the Humbold pingüins.
Together with the pengüins there are sea otters, call Chungungos,
which are in the World Red List because they are in danger of extintion,
sea gulls cohabiting with Kelp Goose, Upland goose and cormorants
while in the water gently swims sea lion colonies.
From here we head towards Castro to
visit the San Francisco Cathedral (Declared World Heritage by Unesco),
the handicraft market, The "palafitos" ( Typical houses built on
stilts). Dinner and overnight in Castro.
Next morning we visit the lake Huillinco
to reach Cucao on the Chiloé National Park. Nowhere in South America
can a traveller follow Darwin´s footsteps more closely than here.
In the park we visit the winding nature trail through gloomy forest
and the Sendero Dunas de Cucao another trail, that leads to a series
of dunes behind a long, white-sand beach. From here we come back
to Castro an continue to Dalcahue to cross the ferry and reach the
Quinchao, one of the archipelagic Chiloé´s most interesting and
accessible islands. Back to Puerto Montt through the Panamerican
highway.
Puerto Montt
is the starting point of the M/V Evangelistas, a cargo and passengers
vessel that sails through the evergreen fjords and channels that
surrounds the Chiloé island and the central patagonian coasts.
On
arrival to Puerto Chacabuco the visitor can take optional tours
and visit the picturesque cities of Aysen and Coyhaique.
The
adventure continues when awakening in the majestic San Rafael Lagoon
in full view of its massive glacier. Weather permitting, an excursion
by boat throughout the lagoon, will be provided... the perfect occasion
to enjoy a glass of whisky " on the rocks" with milenary ice.

Day 1 Early morning flight from Santiago to Calama in the Atacama
Desert. Travel overland to the oasis of San Pedro de Atacama. Spectacular
vistas of the atacama cordillera de la Sal or Salt Mountains. Prepare
yourself for a sunset in the Valley of the Moon, in this bizarre
almost lunar landscape. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama.
Day 2 Early morning visit to the archeological museum of Padre le
Paige with large collection of artifacts demonstrating
the development of the
Atacamenian society. Visit to historic colonial church of San Pedro
dating from 17th century with roofs made of cactus. Afternoon vist
to the Salar de Atacama ( the world´s largest salt lake) on route
to Toconao. This picturesque village built of bricks of white volcanic
stone gives the town a classic yet unique altiplano appearance.
You can also vist the Reserva Nacional de los Flamingos . Overnight
in San Pedro de Atacama.
Day 3 Early departure for the Geisers del Tatio, situated 4500 meters
above sea level on the Altiplano. About 40 geysers, thermal wells
and fumaroles in the early morning light make for an unforgettable
experience. Afternoon ata leisure back in San Pedro de Atacama.
Day 4.- There will be time in the morning to tour around San Pedro
